1. Who We Are (Actually)
STOP TYLER (stoptyler.com) is a satirical marketing campaign operated by Animas Marketing, Durango, Colorado — a company owned by Tyler Rice, the man this website claims to oppose. "The Committee to Stop Tyler Rice" is a fictional entity. The privacy practices below, however, are entirely real.
2. Information We Collect
When you submit the tip line or sign the petition, we collect the information you provide: your name (or codename), email address, the category or demand you select, and your message. We also collect standard technical information such as browser type and pages visited, via analytics, to understand how the campaign performs.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The Committee's investigation is strictly an adults-doing-bits operation.
3. How We Use Your Information
Tips and petition signatures are delivered to Animas Marketing, where they are read by a human (statistically, Tyler). We use your contact information to respond to you, to follow up if you selected "Nothing, I actually need marketing," and — with your consent — to feature submitted material in the campaign. Community submissions are moderated and never published without permission.
We do not sell your personal information. To anyone. The Committee has overhead, but not that kind.
4. Storage & Security
Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS, delivered by a transactional email provider, and stored in our database with access limited to Animas Marketing staff. Bot submissions are filtered by honeypot and, where enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will comply promptly and without demanding that you first disclose your position on the banjo.
6. Contact
Questions about this policy: [email protected], or write to Animas Marketing, Durango, CO 81301. Please do not address mail to "The Undisclosed Basement" — the postal service has asked us to stop.
